I had to replace a door handle from 1988 in brass to avoid changing all of them in my house because NO retail store had something that would fit the hole already drilled in the door. Their competitor in Laval sent me to their store in Montreal saying "if they don't have it I don't know who would". Walked once (closed for construction holidays), walked twice and got the EXACT same model that fitted like a Cinderella slipper into the door. Problem fixed for $25. I don't know what people are ranting about, but if you listen to their advice you walk home with a smile. Highly recommended

J'ai contacté Amherst. Ils m'ont envoyé un serrurier le lendemain matin pour un problème de serrure de la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble. Une fois réparée, j'ai demandé au serrurier s'il pouvait aller réparer une autre serrure d'un autre immeuble, et il a accepté. Donc, 2 serrures réparées par l'attentionné et serviable serrurier Francis, un gentil jeune homme cérébral. (Il réfléchit avant de conseiller). La facture était SALÉE. Mais Francis a fait un excellent travail sur les 2 serrures. Très compétent et donne de bons conseils. Merci Amherst. Merci surtout à Francis!!

Hyper efficace, en 5 minutes j avais mes doubles de clefs et qui fonctionnent! (Pas comme les plusieurs clefs que j ai fait faire à Canadian Tire qui ne marchent pas....)

J’ai appelé pour l’installation d’un ferme-porte. - Conseil, au téléphone, très pratique - Rapide. Ils sont venus le lendemain avec les bonnes pièces grâce aux photos fournies. - Employés : hyper sympathiques. Même le français qui était en training 😅 - Résultat: pose en moins de 30 minutes. Installation impeccable. Ferme-porte bien ajusté. Parfait. - Prix : on est en contexte inflationniste mais ça semble très bien ! Le vidéo est avec une vieille porte. Le ferme-porte est neuf. Le problème était une locataire qui ne refermait jamais la porte. Problem solved ! Je suis hyper content du résultat et du service. Je n’hésiterai pas une seconde pour les recontacter.

Other serruiers like Canadian Tire did 2 times a bad copy of my keys and even tho I was refunded they still made me waste my time... but this guys "Serruiers Amherst" are the best ❤️ they speak English and French! This detail I found very demure very considerate ✨ and even tho it seemed them to had my job done (mailbox key copy) within in seconds, they still did a second inspection to make sure everything was fine... I am totally satisfied ☺️

Vraiment très professionnel et sèrieux. J ai fait changer ma serrure de porte d entrèe. Selon un serrurier connu sur Laurier que je ne nommerai pas , j en avais pour 1200 $ . Avec serrurier Hamerst j ai paye moins de la moitiè, avec une personne très compètente qui m a bien expliquè ce qu il allait faire et le travail a ètè impècable. Je recommande vivement pour leur honnetetè et leur gentillesse.

Both times I received courteous service at a good price. I was quoted a standard price for the first hour which I assumed would be the minimum and I was pleasantly surprised that when the job was done in 25 minutes, I was only charged for half hour plus the price of the telephone unit. I also really liked that the technician took the time to call me before heading to a job farther away, which would have had me waiting for hours. I am very pleased!Just be sure to call as they don't answer emails through their web site. 😉

Le serrurier est le meilleur endroit pour y faire les clés, tous autres endroits n'est pas conseillé. Vos clés vont fonctionner à coup sûr. Excellent service.
